Current IBO cruiserweight champion Danny Green has a good boxxing record of 31 victory and just 3 losses will put his cruisherweight champion title on the line to face former light-heavyweight world champion Antonio Tarver at the Sydney Entertainment Centre on Wednesday, July 20.

The 38-year-old Green is getting Tarver at the right moment, because Tarver has lost two out of his last three fights and hasn’t exactly been all that active lately. Tarver doesn’t move like he used and won’t be able to run to stay out of the way of Green’s big punches. Age has grounded Tarver and made him more prone to have to stand and fight. This is could be a good or a bad thing for Green depending on how much Tarver has left.

Tarver is a multiple world champion at the light heavyweight division and famously became the first man to knock out Roy Jones Jr in 2005. Like Jones Jr this will be Tarver’s first professional fight outside the US, however the 42 year-old is confident he has the power and skill to do what no man has done before, knock out Danny Green.
